This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use Human Touch at tryhumantouch.com (the “Service”), why we collect it, and what rights you have. It applies together with our Terms of Service.
1. Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is Wunderlabs S.R.L., with its registered office at Str. Sinaia nr. 2B, sc. 2, et. 3, ap. 28, Timișoara, Timiș County, Romania, Trade Register number J2026028653008, tax identification number (CUI) 54593071 (“we”, “us”). 2. The data we collect
- Your videos. The videos you upload and the edited versions we create. They can contain the image and voice of you and of other people.
- Contact details. Your email address and anything else you tell us when you create an account, receive a video or write to us.
- TikTok account data. If you connect your TikTok account, we receive your TikTok identifier, display name, profile picture and the access tokens that let us publish a video for you. We never see your TikTok password.
- Payment data. Payments are handled by Stripe. We receive confirmation of the payment, the amount, your country and limited card details such as the last four digits. We do not receive or store your full card number.
- Technical data. Your IP address, device and browser type, and the date and time of your requests, recorded in server logs when you visit the site.
- Usage data. How you use the site: the pages you view, what you click, the page you came from, your approximate location (country or city, derived from your IP address) and your device type. See “Cookies and analytics” below.
Where the site tells you that a preview is local, the video you select stays on your device and is not sent to us.
3. Why we use your data
- To provide the Service (performance of our contract with you): editing your videos, delivering them, taking payment, publishing to TikTok when you ask us to, and answering your requests.
- To keep the Service safe and working (our legitimate interests): preventing fraud and abuse, fixing problems and understanding how the Service is used so we can improve it.
- To meet our legal obligations, such as keeping accounting and tax records.
- With your consent, where we ask for it. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
4. Automated editing
Your videos are edited by automated tools, including artificial intelligence. To do this, the tools analyse the picture and sound of your video, for example to transcribe speech into subtitles or to place captions behind a person. We process faces and voices only to edit your video, never to identify anyone. Part of this processing is done by OpenAI, which receives content from your video for that purpose and handles it on our behalf. The editing does not produce decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
5. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:
- Service providers that work on our behalf and under our instructions:
- Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany), which hosts the Service and stores your videos;
- OpenAI, which provides the artificial intelligence used to analyse and edit your videos;
- Stripe, which processes payments. Stripe also uses payment data for its own purposes, such as fraud prevention, under its privacy policy;
- Cloudflare, which delivers the website and protects it against attacks;
- TikTok, when you ask us to publish a video to your account. TikTok then handles that video under its own privacy policy;
- Public authorities, when the law requires it;
- A successor, if our business is merged, sold or reorganised, under the same protections as in this policy.
6. Transfers outside the European Economic Area
Some of our service providers, including OpenAI, Stripe and Cloudflare, may process your data outside the European Economic Area, in particular in the United States. When your data is transferred there, we rely on a European Commission adequacy decision, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
7. How long we keep your data
- Videos: only for as long as needed to edit them and let you preview, download or publish them. After that we delete them. You can ask us to delete them earlier.
- TikTok access tokens: until you disconnect your TikTok account or the tokens expire.
- Payment and invoicing records: for the period required by tax and accounting law.
- Messages you send us: for as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up.
- Server logs: for a limited period, for security and troubleshooting.
- Usage data: for a limited period, after which it is deleted or kept only as aggregated statistics.
8. Cookies and analytics
We use the cookies and similar storage that are strictly necessary to run the Service and keep it secure. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not track you across other websites.
To understand how the site is used and improve it, we use two analytics tools, Rybbit and PostHog. We run both on our own servers, so the usage data they collect stays with us and is not shared with the companies behind those tools. Rybbit measures visits without cookies. PostHog stores cookies or similar data on your device only if you agree; if you do not, it works without storing anything on your device. You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page.
9. Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of your personal data;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data deleted;
- restrict or object to how we use your data;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw a consent you have given.
To use any of these rights, write to [email protected]. We answer within one month. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. In Romania this is the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP), at dataprotection.ro.
10. Other people in your videos
If other people appear or can be heard in your videos, you are responsible for having their permission to upload and publish the video. If you appear in a video that someone uploaded without your permission, write to us and we will look into it.
11. Children
The Service is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has given us personal data, write to us and we will delete it.
12. Security
We protect your data with technical and organisational measures such as encryption in transit and restricted access. No system is completely secure, so if you think your data has been compromised, tell us right away.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the Service or the law changes. We will post the new version on this page and change the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will make it clearly visible before it takes effect.
